The Trial of Scurvy Ragu

Scurvy Ragu has been sentenced to 30 days hard labour for crimes including the continued piracy & harassment of the good citizens of Antiquity.

An appeal trial against this sentence is now being conducted (on this forum). We call for any and all citizens to contribute with information about any alleged crimes commited by the notorious pirate Scurvy Ragu.

The jury is the good citizens of Antiquity. We all know who the judge is, and he may or may not comment or act on this trial, as is his perogative.

((OK, we all know Scurvy's sentence will not be repealed, however I've started this thread to discuss what constitutes bannable behaviour - and how to avoid it during pirate/navy RP, and hopefully come to a more equatable system where allegations can be presented to the 'defendant' who has the opportunity to present his side of the story.))

There was a party in the Pirate region last Saturday I TPd to the party Said Greeting when I had fully rezzed I was only greeted by one person ( who to be honest I need to repair a friendship with) Astryl joined the party a few moments later and was totally ignored. By this time I had left due to the unfriendless. She then left sent me an IM stating that this was not the first time this had happened to her. A decision was made to return to the party to see if people could be less impolite. Even saying hello in uppercase and shouting did not work. We left in disgust. Less than one hour later Astryl informed she was leaving Antiquity (she wanted to be ignored no more) . Some of the people on this forum were the ones who ignored us and showed no signs of been friendly.
Politeness and etiquette seems to be leaving Antiquity.

Weren't me, I can account for my whereabouts 200 miles from home. Don't know if I was invited to any party in the Pirate sims..(there's a few now and I don't think they invite everyone in Antiquity to all their stuff anyway.) Tho I did make it to Sazzy's 7am open house on Sunday, everyone was welcoming there.

Then you we right the first time Pamus. Was Saturday. I only was on for the wedding. But it did seem like there was alot going on all over Antiquity that day.

Again I feel bad about.

Btw I did see you come in for the wedding, but Kinda had my hands full so to speak. (officiating a wedding was interesting and I hadnt done it before) I hope you enjoyed it.

Hmm..I know I was at Sazzy's and it was Saturday 21st at 7am. Stayed only 30 mins. New person got to dance with Alaxana....or can't remember her spelling. (Or maybe she knows him..) I was welcomed by strangers. Then drove 200 miles to get home 15 mins late for the wedding, folks friendly there too. Sorry you had a bad experience.

My alibi = I went shopping for new gowns after the wedding after I realised how bad I looked. Wearing black to a wedding - what was I thinking?

I shall this as an opportunity to improve (I usually watch for new arrivals atg parties - just as many people seem to greet me when I arrive). I was there for the wedding and part of the reception (I did not arrive at 1pm exactly - so I likely did not have a chance to greet people who beat me there).
