Mer Gatherings... always full of Merprises!!

Today was a real Mer treat!
Not only did we get to enjoy time together at Oma's awesome Mer Cave, but we got to lounge about Raine's delightful Mer Garden too.
(Raine was unable to join us, and did she miss out on some fun!!)
We had several interesting characters join us in Raine's Mer Garden.
One of our Mer summoned her maid. Her maid dutifully arrived, looking quite effecient in his freshly starched uniform.
The maid, Luke, skillfully poured the tea, and handed out delicate china cups to those in need. ( Rum, Absynthe & Seafoam Cocktails had been enjoyed in Oma's Cave earlier. )

Others were in need of something a little more stronger, and Luke was able to accomodate the various requests with grace and ease.
Visitors continued to arrive, and were served tea by Maid Luke.
Mer culture and events were discussed over refreshments, and the subject of Mer Ballet came up.
Mer Elleon described this type of ballet in some detail.
We all thought it sounded wonderful, and only a finfull of Mer had seen this ballet being performed.
Elleon invited us to partake in a Mer Ballet demonstration.
So, we carefully placed our tea cups on the granite beams, and joined her in a graceful Mer dance.
Our twirling tails and fins became a swirl of gorgeous colour, as we gently moved in unison.
It was amazing to both dance and watch this ballet.
Elleon is such a good dance teacher!
We had the hang of it in no time at all.
(My Mer dancing had been mostly limited to...."Ya put your left fin in..... ya put your left fin out...... you do the Hokey Lobster and ya turn around...")
Afterwards, we agreed that it would be wonderful to host a Mer ballet right here in Antiquity.
What a great idea!
I look forward to next week's Mer adventure!
