Yacht Race ~ Dec 13th

Today we witnessed a most thrilling Yacht Race!
Four skilled & experienced sailors took to our waters and completed 2 full laps of The Scurvy Course.
Starting in Charon Abyss, the fleet headed east , and followed the race course through six sims to finish in Lagoon.
Capt TaliDon G clocked some great speeds today, and Capt's Scurvy R, Kris E, and Steed B, all sailed admirably to keep up.
Capt TaliDon easily won the race in his unusaul yacht, and Capt Scurvy took 2nd place, Capt Kris 3rd, and unfortunately Capt Steed crashed, and was unable to complete the race.
Refreshments were served to sailors and spectators at the Club House afterwards, and ideas were discussed to improve and expand our yacht & ship racing.

Comment by Bridget Jennings on January 4, 2009 at 4:22pm: There were not one but 3 great races on January 3rd - great sportsmanship exhibited by all and very fast speeds over a newly created course. I notice another great event scheduled for January 10th by the incomparable Malibu DuPont at 2pm. Visit the Yacht Club to see what is coming.
