A uniquely Jamaican Mermaid Story

Since this is copyrighted material I will not cut and paste the story into this site. This story is about the Mermaid and the Comb. It is a uniquely Jamaican story and I encourage everyone to follow the link to read it in it's entirety. I had originally done a search to see if there were any mermaid myths in the vicinity of Jamaica and I was inundated with all sorts of information and links. This is a story that seems to be common among many sites but is best published in this gazette form. Needless to say I have already been visited by such lovely creatures in Runaway Bay so I will need to create a space for the Mer Guild to frequent.
