Example of Roleplay - Blast from the Past

I recently, and quite happily, discovered that there are some roleplay logs from a roleplay game I played for approximately 8 years. I have posted the link below to show some of our work. This is the style of roleplay that I am USED to and absolutely adore. In this log you will see example of roleplay leading to conflict, resolved by ROLEPLAYED combat and the use of a very rudimentary dice system to determine success or failure of a typed action.

Setup:
I play a character in the log named Nazeera aka Lady in Rain Mask. It is the night before she is to be wed to Lord Kristover Rissik. Both characters are virigins and the event is Lord Kristover's bachelor party. The Royal princes have decided that Lord Kristover will not see his wedding night as a virgin and have brought in a courtesan to assist. Several people of goodly intention and nature see this situation as disaster for the new couple and try to assist in 'rescuing' the good and pure Lord Kristover from the Royal Princes plans for him.

This log is quite long but the players type well and it is a good read, funny as hell and for me, just great memories! It is a prime example of how players can work together to create a story without angst or any complaints. Conflict can be fun, and an evening's worth of work produces something that someone felt worthy to preserve online in an archive of roleplay logs. I am quite happy they did keep the log. This site has many more logs from the time I was playing there and I hope to read every single one of them!

I did a quick speed read on this, and I guess the comment I would leave is my first thoughts tell me just how artistic and theatric these roleplays can be. This can be viewed as very much a screenplay in my opinion, and wow, what a stage we have here in Second Life! Thanks for sharing this Oma!
