The Museum of SecondLife Photography will celebrate its one year anniversary in October. This gem of a place, owned by Yasmine Kidd with the goal of celebrating and honoring the art-form of photography in SecondLife, has showcased some of the finest photographers on the grid.
According to curator, Mariposa Upshaw, the museum will celebrate its one year anniversary on October 11, 2009. The celebration will include musical artists Senjata Witt, performing at 5pm SLT, Franklee Anatra, performing at 6pm SLT, Somerset Oh & Rhode, performing at 7pm SLT. A variety of exhibiting artists will be joining the celebration, including Calli Christensen, Monroe Snook, Cala Rossini, Cienga Soon, Eves Rodenberger, Sunn Thunders, Stephanie Helstein, akane nacht and more to come. This is a celebration of some of the very best of SL Photography.
With
the closing of Orange Island, it is noteworthy that MoSLP remains as the premier venue for SecondLife Photography.
