The Ill-Fated Blake SeaBattle Group

To all who joined this Group and especially the ones who had to make room to join in yore lists, I heartily apologize to you. I was under some pressure to disband the thing as apparently it was a source of odd concerns or embarrassment to somebody up the ladder over there. Just so everybody knows, the only way I could disband it was to remove us all from the list and leave the thing to float off to wherever these things go in the end. I'd have asked Burnman for a Group-Be-Gone script but was a bit short on time.

I really hoped to help make a place in Blake for a scheduled battle once a week for all pyrates and yaz, even the Navee, but will leave that to the more politically correct and stick with sailing friendlier waters.

I'll take me floggings standin' up with ao off.

Well, as a consolation prize, I managed to grab the old NORDZEE sim from Beek Haven (for a week anyhow) I rezzed at my last location from nite before and discovered that it was bein' terraformed and placed for sale just as I popped on. Anyhow, the price was gude and I thought was worth a chance that other sims would be snapped up by pirates and they'd be able to remain together, but that's another story...

Anyhow, me darling Sho and I figger to have some fun with it for the week fore it goes back, and do some gunboat battles there. Is only one sim but lag meter stays on three green lights, even with five couch bazookas firing at same time. If any of ye want to drag yore old gunboat outta inventory and have some fun, IM me or Sho and we'll bring you. Big ships prolly ain't so gude tho as space is limited, but the little boats flat out rock! I came into SL a bit after the gunboat battles ended and hadn't really done any but Oma, Bea, Bos, his Lady, Sho and meself had hellacious gude fun with the little boats on lagfree seas and with Memphis and Mississippi old school Blues music in the air. Bos somehow had his sails dancing in time to Big Joe Turner last nite.

It ain't Blake SeaBattles but mebbe gives a glimpse at what it would be like to sail and shoot without lag if anyone has wondered what that would feel like.
